Charles D. Urstadt

is an independent theater producer dedicated to bringing new voices and innovative works to the stage.

Charlie is currently co-producer of the Broadway productions of Joe Turner’s Come and Gone and Schmigadoon!. Recent Broadway projects include Call Me Izzy, the Tony Award-nominated Floyd Collins, and the Tony Award-winning Appropriate.

A veteran of the real estate business, he has long supported the arts by serving on the boards of several theaters and museums.
